Here comes the rain; there goes Leah.

Since London there hasn't been too much going on in Odense. I have been attending classes, dealing with noisy peers in class, and reading bland marketing research. This is the life.

A few nights ago Louis made dinner and we had the most deelish burgers. They had onion bits and chili powder and mustard all mixed in, which may sound gross but it was not. Not in the least. And these burgers were huge. Like, 250g AKA 1/2 lb. Now I'm the kind of gal who can do just fine with a quarter pounder from McD's but this was just...awe-inspiring to say the least. We had them with some potato rounds and (thank the lord) ketchup. You only have ketchup a handful of times here. It is definitely not a commonality.

Louis has also i
ntroduced me to many a British action movie. They're good overall with some being better than others. I was glad to finally see Snatch, can't believe I hadn't really. So tonight the reckoning comes: I have to make dinner and then we'll watch something else. Tonight it will be Bronson, which I just watched the trailer for actually and happened to mention it. I'm pretty pumped about this one. In the preview, someone called it the modern-day Clockwork Orange. Sounds good to me. So after the failure of beef stroganoff I'm going to attempt, that should make up for it.

Today all I've really done is download Smilla's Sense of Snow so I wouldn't have to watch it in a noisy classroom, and gone shopping. I finally got the rain boots I've been looking for and I am very pleased. Now it just has to rain, which I know it will. I also looked many plac
es for egg noodles and beef consomme to no avail. Weak sauce. So now I will be using regular pasta and beef stock, I'll call mom to see if there's a difference.

I leave for Hamburg in two days and I just can't believe it. Cam and I will be training our behinds all over. Our route goes: Hamburg, Berlin, Prague, Munich, Zurich, and Amsterdam. Cam is throwing in a day trip to Paris and this is all in ten days. Should be quite the adventure. I'm excited to get back and have great photos and plan another trip out. I'll have a few days of travel left on my Eurail pass and I'll definitely be using them. That's all for now.

Later.
